We had a great weekend. The B&B was in a fantastic location, a short stroll from the main street, and supplied everything we needed plus more! We would love to have spent more time there and recommend it to all.

Three couples - we enjoyed our stay very much - very comfortable and well appointed. Very well located, being short walk from town centre and Chateau Tanunda Winery. Possible downside - only one bathroom for three couples!! But we managed. Advised owner that perhaps a fly-wire screen door should be installed at front door to keep out the flys and mosquitos. Would recommend. Regards Martin Ward

Management Response

Dear Martin, Thankyou for your comments. I realise it's a bit tricky with one bathroom for 3 couples but luckily you had two toilets ! and yes, with summer on it's way a screendoor is a priority. It was lovely to meet your happy little group of friends and glad you enjoyed the Barossa cheers Ngaire

Oscar's Barossa is an excellant place and well set up for 2-3 couples travelling together. Our host was excellent and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed the stay which was walking distance to the Tununda shops and restuarants.

Charming, picture perfect house, well stocked bathroom and pantry. Very close and within walking distance to main street in town. Water pressure for hot shower wasn't as high as I'm used to (but maybe that's normal for water pressure in Adelaide), but my traveling companions found it fine. The ensuite for the master bedroom was a bit cramped (and was only a toilet and sink) so don't rent out the place expecting to have two bathrooms. Breakfast was adequate but nothing exciting. Wouldn't have a problem recommending the place to friends or family visiting the area.

Management Response

Thankyou for your comments and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in the Barossa. Water pressure is fine if you turn the hot tap all the way on as it is an overhead hot water system. Oscars is advertised as 1 bathroom, 2 toilets (an extra toilet is often a bonus) Breakfast provisions are bacon, eggs, tomatoes, local Bakery Bread & Milk, real Orange Juice, cereal, as in most Cottages that I manage. A phone call can change breakfast provisions if required.
