Come and enjoy the Barossa experience in these newly built, self contained stone cottages.The cottages were built in the style of the early settlers with outside stone and rendered walls and high ceilings inside but with all the modern comforts. They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The cottages have front and rear private verandahs so you can relax and unwind enjoying the wonderful views or the sunsets that the Barossa is known for.

Location:

We are located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, 3kms from Tanunda, in Bethany. Our views are of the Barossa Ranges and the spires of Tanunda; we are surrounded by vineyards. If you are used to the noises of the city the quietness of the country will be deafening!

Each cottage has one queen bed. Groups need to book multiple cottages. We do not have facilities for children of any age.

Reception Information:

Our reception is located in the main house. Feel free to call or call in.

Business Facilities:

We have provided free internet access in each cottage. Connecting cables are also provided. A fax and copier is located at reception if you need it on holidays!

Car Parking:

Every cottage has its own carport located next to it. There is extra room for a limited number of guests cars also. You are welcome to leave your car on site if you have booked a tour and have checked out.

Things to do:

The main activity is to relax! Each cottage has its private spa bath to enjoy with a glass of wine. Each has its own private back balcony for that quiet smoke, read or just reflection.

Local Attractions:

The cottages are located in Bethany, the first German settlement in the Barossa. There is an historical walk down Bethany Road should you be interested. Local wineries include Bethany Wines and Turkey Flat. We are 3 kms from Tanunda - shops and restaurants.

Getting There:

The cottages are located on a private property on Bethany Road between the railway and the church. Proceed down the dirt driveway,past the main house (about 200 metres) and turn left to go behind the winery sheds to the cottages. Please keep to the road and enter the carport from the rear. Lights will automatically go on if you are arriving at night.
