Daisy Randall in Lyndoch was a perfect location from which to explore the Barossa - a comfortably restored mid 1800's stone cottage in a quiet location within walking distance of the bakery, pub, restaurants, supermarket etc., and only a short drive to all the more popular centres such as Tanunda & Angaston (25Km), with dozens of wineries within striking distance. Take local recommendations on which wineries to visit.

We had a lovely stay at Daisy Randall, it was a cute wonky little house full of character to get us into the spirit of the Barossa Valley. We had ample breakfast provisions, the place was well heated and really comfortable. It was great to be able to walk to the Lord Lyndoch Hotel for dinner, IGA and bakery and even a fantastic cellar door.

Very comfortable. Great shower - not everyone is interested in claw-footed baths. Delicious local bacon. Lighting not good in lounge or bedrooms making it difficult to read.

We enjoyed our stay at the Daisy Randall. Lyndoch was a great base for our travels to the various attractions in the Adelaide and surrounding areas. The cottage was very well appointed and equipped. Our suggestion for improvement, for weekly or longer rentals, would be to have laundry facilities and a high-speed internet connection.

Extremely happy about the accommodation and all facilities including the luscious breakfast included. Shopping readily available in Lyndoch and Gawler. Mossies were a problem but that could be anywhere. Will definitely go back there again.

Daisy Randall tries to ensure that all guests really enjoy their stay. We have tracked down the source of mosquitos - a tub of water in neighbours property - all gone now!

Apologies, but I've been travelling again and haven't had access to my personal email for some time. My girlfriend from Spain and I travel to a wine region each year. We spent a fantastic four nights at the Daisy Randall at Lyndoch. It was really our home in the Barossa. Check-in was delayed only because I didn't read the instructions properly. After a phone call, the owner arrived within five minutes. She provided fresh bread (home baked) twice during our stay, and the most fantastic smokey bacon (kaesler I think). The locality was perfect for our Barossa touring and we spent most afternoons with a bottle from one of the wineries we had visited each day and some local produce from Maggie Beer's. I've already recommended the location to friends who are visiting the Barossa in December, and will definitely return in 2010.

Glad you enjoyed your time at Daisy Randall in the beautiful Barossa. The double smoked short back bacon is produced by local smallgoods supplier Steiny's - they are a wholesale supplier so you can find their incredible products right across the Barossa (and beyond)

My stay was perfect and the cottage had everything we needed. Was a great spot to stay as only 5 mins away from Tanunda and all the wineries but more private than being near the bigger towns. Vey good food at the local steak house too!

WOW - this place was fantastic - the attention to detail and crisp clean finishes made our stay one to remember - this ancient old cottage was soooo cosy and cool on a hot day. We sat out under the grapevine and sipped on a chilled bottle of Barossa bubbles. The king bed was ever so comfortable and we had the best cooked breakfast ever - the bacon was marvelous. Pity we could only stay one night.
