Geranium cottage has 1 queen bedroom and 1 twin bedroom and can sleep up to 4 people comfortably and is ideal for couples with children. It also has a double sofa-bed in the lounge, so can sleep up to 6 guests. It is a good option for larger families or groups of friends. Bathroom, vanity area and toilet are separate.

Additional $10.00 per night when booked for twin share and more than 1 bedroom is used.

Cancellations:

Strict cancellation policies apply. Any cancellation will incur a $30 (incl GST) cancellation fee. Cancellations notified less than 28 days and more than 14 days prior to the booking may receive a refund once a replacement booking of equal or greater value is secured. Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the arrival date will forfeit the full payment. Any other changes to booking dates will incur a $30 amendment fee. No changes may be made less than 14 days prior to the arrival date.

The administration fee on refunds is AU$30.00

Children & Extra Guest Policy:

Jacaranda Cottage sleeps up to 4 guests in 2 queen bedrooms. Geranium Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in a queen and a twin bedroom and has a double sofa-bed in the lounge. Children are welcome in Geranium Cottage. Jacaranda Cottage not suitable for young children, conditions apply. PLEASE ADVISE NUMBER OF GUESTS AND ROOMS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING to ensure adequate arrangements are made for your stay. We are pet friendly and your pet is welcome. Outside only. A fenced area and kennel are provided. Please esure that your pet is under control at all times and that you clean up after them.

Things to do:

Guest BBQ and outdoor eating patio. Outdoor private Garden Spa Room with large 6 person spa. Childrens play equipement (swings etc.) for youg children and large garden area for older children to play. DVD's available from reception. Books and magazines in cottages. Jigsaw puzzles and board games available from reception.

Local Attractions:

There is plenty to see and do. There are plenty of wineries within a few kilometres of your accommodation. There are big ones like Yaldara with its famous Chateau Chateau Barrosa with its huge rose garden and plenty of medium sized wineries like Cimicky, Kies, Schild Estate, Kellermeister and Trevor Jones Wines, Ross Estate and Burge Family Winemakers. The Sandy Creek Conservation Park is only a kilometre up the road and a wonderful spot for birdwatching. The Lyndoch Bakery is famous for its German styled products. And the Butcher is worth a visit to buy some of hius famous smallgoods. There is a great restaurant -The Lord Lyndoch which has a Steak Cellar on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Getting There:

To get to Barossa Country Cottages, coming from Gawler turn right at the main cross roads in Lyndoch into Gilbert St. Coming from Tanunda go straight ahead at the cross road into Gilbert St. Coming from Williamstown, turn left into Gilbert St. Your cottages are 800m up the hill on your left opposite the Jollytown Rd intersection. Alternatively, turn right into Jollytown Road 1 km before reaching Lyndoch, proceed to the end, cross Gilbert Street to the cottages.
