In the tiny Barossa Village of Light Pass, in about 1930, the Lowke family built their bungalow. They named it Lebenwohl, which in their German language means "to live well". They still treasure their little piece of the Barossa. You are invited to relax and enjoy a stay in this quintessential Barossa place. Furnished with original settler's antiques plus more modern features you will get a taste of life in their Valley. Well heated in Winter and air conditioned in Summer, the two bedroom house is ideally suited for two couples or families to discover the wineries and attractions of the region. Outside, sit under an old walnut tree, explore rambling gardens and historic buildings and view the vineyards over the fence. Experience the Barossa.

Cancellations:

Strict cancellation policies apply. Any cancellation will incur a $30 (incl GST) cancellation fee. Cancellations notified more than 28 days and less then 14 days prior to the booking may receive a refund once a replacement booking of equal or greater value is secured. Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the arrival date will forfeit the full payment. Any other changes to booking dates will incur a $30 amendment fee. No changes may be made less than 14 days prior to the arrival date.

The administration fee on refunds is AU$30.00

Getting There:

Light Pass House is in the Village of Light Pass between Nuriootpa and Angaston. In the township of Nuriootpa turn off of the main street - Murray Street or Barossa Valley Way-at the High School into Penrice Road. Follow this for two kilometres until it intersects with Light Pass Road (just before the rail way line) turn left and Light Pass House is about 700 metres along on the right hand side.

Cleanliness		Beautiful cottage, much larger then it seems in pictures. All the extra touches are there. Cottage was well stocked with everything (extra toilet paper, cleaning supplies, crockery, spices, oils, etc). It was true to its 1930s heritage while still having all the modern conveniences. Cleanliness		If you want a lovely old world cottage to stay in with all mod cons, including 2 (indoor) toilets, this is the place to go to. We were thoroughly spoilt with the breakfast provisions and wine & port for the evening relax. Only 3 minutes from Nuriootpa main street, Light Pass House has it all.
