This was a charming old cottage in peaceful rural surroundings. We stayed two nights but there was enough food provided for three nights - pity we didn't stay longer! Any time I thought I needed something I discovered that it was already provided - including Aerogard when the mossies decided to attack me on the verandah! (the only negative!)

There's truly not a care in your world when you stay at Trinity Cottage, everything is taken care of. There are soooo many complimentary extras included from food like popcorn (and a nifty popcorn maker) jams and spreads, delicious bread, fresh eggs, bacon and drinks - to the practicalities like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, a scrabble board, DVDs and more books than you could read in a month. A slight inside scoop: do yourself a favour and try the (once again complimentary) port in the decanter, it is out of this world and perfect to sip at when your lazing in the spa or curled up infront of the fire playing a game of cards. Dig around the place when you get there and you'll find a treasure trove of things to pass the quiet hours. If you prefer the outdoors then take a walk around the backyard which extends to a range of paddocks, on our walks we found an amusing family of sheep and a lemon tree which had enough fruit to donate for some delicious homemade lemonade. Each of these little touches culminate to make you feel as though you're coming home, not staying somewhere new. Which in the end, is what a brilliant B&B is meant to do. Top stuff trinity, keep it up!

Trinity Cottage was delightful. All facilities advertised were there, the breakfast supplies were fresh and local (very nice bacon). Maybe some local cheese could be included. The snuggly bath robes were especially appreciated - where can we purchase some? We didn't find the discount voucher for Grant Burge until after we had been there - maybe it could be left with the information book rather than at the back of the dresser. All in all a great stay.

Had a fantastic time at Trinity Cottage. The provisions were thoughtful and plentiful and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. A lovely cottage with a beautiful outlook from the front verandah. Everything we could have wanted and more from our short getaway. Well worth the price. We will be back for sure.

Loved everything about this cottage! It's very comfortable with everything you need, has a lovely view from the front verandah, and is a close driving distance from a couple of nearby towns. We were only there for a weekend but could have easily stayed and relaxed for a whole week.

We live in the city of Sydney, so it was lovely to see the new year in under such peaceful surroundings. Very relaxing and a well stocked pantry ensured we had plenty of provisions. The cottage reminded us of bygone days.

What a gem of a place to stay. How can you better staying amongst the vineyards, watching the sun go down while sipping on your glass of local wine. The cottage is everything you could hope for. An early morning walk up the back paddock to the top of the hill is a must - the view sensational, and don't forget to take the binoculars provided for your enjoyment. The cottage was difficult to find as the road does not seem to be listed on my GPS, but on phone call o the owners and all was solved easily. The local village of Angaston is such a beautiful place with cafes to suit all, not forgetting the Angas store at the top end of town. There are many scenic drives form here, the one we particularly enjoyed was to Birdwood through Eden Valley. At Birdwood visit the Motor Museum. We took a slight detour to Hahndorf for lunch at the Hahndorf Inn. Great day. We will difinitely be going back when in South Australia again. Alan & Linda Brown

It took us 1/12 hours to find because we did not realise until late that there were very clear instructions on how to get to it in our booking brief. These need to be followed explicitly as Waetchers Rd was not listed in our Tomtom GPS system, nor was it named on a local map, nor did the Police Station in Nuriootpa have any idea where it was.

Management Response

Glad you found this delightful cottage and enjoyed your stay. We always provide detailed directions so people don't get lost. We also have Google Maps on our website so you can print out directions if required. Your confirmation email also had the phone numbers for the owner and manager in case you needed to call. Unfortunately some GPS systems don't have the best maps when it comes to rural areas ;-(

We cant say enough goodthings about this place. This is our second visit and we were just as happy as the first time. Clean and tidy, yet still had a homely feel. All facilities working well - loved the spa on the cold nights. Service was graet with a phonecall leading up to the visit to ensure we knew how to get there and what to do when we got there (house all set up with heating on to greet us). Location is picturesque! Feels very secluded yet only minutes from Angaston. Value I put as good as it seems expensive, but once you are there and realise how much is layed out for you (you need to search the cupboards for goodies like popcorn machine and supplies or cookies in the jar), value is actually great! Overall - we will be back and have suggested this place to many friends - thanks for a great stay once again.

Four of us stayed here for 'A Day on the Green' weekend. We were very comfortable and although I was worried we might have been a bit far away from Tanunda, this was actually great as it was so close to Angaston (which we love) and not really far from Tanunda or Nuri at all. The provisions were very generous, although we would have liked to see more 'local' produce (ie. bread from the local bakery, etc). The little bbq area is lovely and we had breakfast out there one morning. The views over the vineyard are great for a drink on the front verandah. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Trinity Cottage.

We loved Trinity Cottage!!! Having stayed in many bed and breakfasts around South Australia Trinity would have to be one of our favourites. The furnishings and decor really suit the era of the home, the views, seclusion and all the provisions made it difficult to decide whether to go out or stay by the fire with a glass of red and relax. We have recommended a stay there to all our family and friends and am sure we will be back when next visiting the Barossa. Thanks - Jane and Anthony Starinskas P.S. what a nice touch the candle lit chandelier is in the bathroom!

Absolutely brilliant escape for the long weekend! Everything was perfect, from the goodies in the fridge to the port in the decanter. Facilities were excellent, and the cottage cosy and comfortable. We came from opposite ends of the country (Darwin & King Island) to meet for a girls weekend in the Barossa, and were overwhelmed by how wonderful everything was! Truly made our stay memorable, and we are already planning next year's reunion...

This BNB far exceeded our wildest dreams. It was spotless, well located, quiet, close to everything, far enough away from everything, and our contacts with Sandra made us feel welcome and special. We'll definitely be telling all our friends to put Trinity Cottage on their "must stay" list when heading to Barossa. Cheers Rob

It was the perfect way for us to spend a weekend of watching Motorsport. We came home each night and were able to have a warm spa and jump into a warm bed (nice wood fire too). Their was plenty of food and drink too. Definately one of the best we have been too. We will be back next year, unless someone that we told about it beats us to it :)
