The downstairs mattress was too firm for a comfortable sleep but the upstairs bed was perfect. But overall a very nice place to stay,very clean and cosy with nice welcoming touches.

Our stay at the Dovecote was a great experience. We booked in on a cold weekend, and did some winetasting in the local wineries before returning to the warmth of our cottage. We had booked dinner at a restaurant but the comforts of the Dovecote beckoned and we settled on a quick meal at the Tanunda Hotel which was 5 minutes walk away. The cottage was very clean had everything we wanted and the breakfast supplies were more then ample. We will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay, thankyou. The night we stayed was close to full moon and it shone through the stain glass window above the bed like a light. To have a curtain there would have been great. During the night there was a weather change and the wind rattled the door enough to get Julianne out of bed to jam it up with paper, she does not get out of bed easily!

Our stay at the Dove Cote was very enjoyable. We thought that the factilities were just what we wanted for our couple of days away. The location close to town made it easy to go out for dinner and enjoy ourselves without worrying about having to driving. We would recommend the Dove Cote to our friends and family.
