It takes years to learn the secrets of the Barossa. We are still learning after 40 plus years, but are prepared to share some of the best kept secrets with you...
Why drink and drive - be chauffeured by a local - see the Barossa in the comfort of a stylish current model Chrysler 300C. All tours are tailored to your wishes. Full day tours including winery visits, morning tea, 2 course bistro lunch and wine by the glass start at only $360 for two for discerning couples and groups.
A Vintage Tour - full Day Tour
Relax in style - be chauffeured by a local in a stylish Chrysler 300C as we meander though the Barossa countryside.
Indulge your senses as you sample the gastronomic delights of the Barossa. Take in not only our famous wines but also our cultural heritage and breathtaking scenery. A full day tour takes in at least 4 of the wineries that make the Barossa famous. You will also meet some of the local vignerons, fifth or sixth generation Australians who can trace their roots back to the first German immigrants to come to the Barossa. You may try a full range of Barossa wines, including those full bodied reds, straw coloured whites, sticky late picked, old ports and a wide range of other fortified wines.
Discover the secrets behind the Barossa's world famous wine, visit prestigious wineries and boutique cellar doors, meet the winemaker, taste great wines, walk in a vineyard. The choice is yours - visit antique collections and shops, churches and cemeteries, butchers, bakers and coopers (sorry, no candlestick makers), craft shops and workshops, restaurants, cafes or home produce; the range of choices are endless.
Enjoy morning coffee at a German bakery and a winery restaurant lunch at Kaesler Restaurant, Nuriootpa

Barossa Icons - the ultimate wine tasting experience
The Barossa is Australia's premier wine region. To earn that title it has consistently produced over many decades, some of the iconic wines of Australia. Wine lovers will instantly know of Penfolds' Bin 95 (Grange) and Henschke's Hill of Grace and Seppeltsfield's 100 year old Vintage Tawny.
There are dozens of Barossa wine tours to select from but only one provides a tailored iconic experience for distinguished guests. Barossa Vintage Tours has designed the Icons Tour, a very special wine experience where in one day we visit the Barossa cellars of the winemakers to sample these three icon wines.
In addition, at each of these cellars, you will learn about the heritage behind the wines plus sample a small selected range of their other flagship wines.

Barossa Flagships
There is an amazing range of noted winemakers across the Barossa. Superlatives such as outstanding, exceptional and distinguished are often used to describe their wines.
We have personally selected 16 of our favourite well known long term winemakers and made special arrangements to taste their flagship wines which are often "not available" or "sold out". Rather than taste a full range of wines at each winery, we will have the winemakers select just a handful - maybe something new, rare or unusual plus their flagship wine. Plenty of time will be provided for discussions, tall tales, swirling, sniffing and tasting.
Select four from:
Bethany Wines - GR
Burge Family Winemakers - Draycott Reserve
Charles Melton - Nine Popes
Elderton - Command
Grant Burge - Meshach
Greenock Creek - Roendfeldt Road
Jenke Vineyards - Reserve Shiraz
Kaesler Wines - Old Bastard
Langmeil Winery - The Freedom
Peter Lehman - Stonewell
Rockfords - Basket Press
St Hallett - Old Block
Torbreck - Run Rig
Trevor Jones Wines - Wild Witch and Wicked Witch
Veritas - Hanisch

Barossa Nocturnal wildlife - take a walk on the wild side
As the Barossa winds down at the end of the day, the natives become restless. The native birds head home for the evening, a flash of colour darting and reeling through the gums and acacias and she-oaks capturing the last rays of brilliant sun. The kangaroos and wallabies stir from the lazy day spent in the dappled shadows to come out for a dusk supper before the sun disappears for the night. It is a magic time of the day in the Australian bush.
You can join the natives and savour the moment of the rich red glow in those last minutes of the day. We venture to a local Conservation Park, wander along made tracks to meet the locals and celebrate the end of another day.
We supply the entertainment plus a pair of binoculars and spot light per person. You bring a jacket as it gets cold and wear appropriate footwear for a bush path.
Departs one and a half hours prior to sunset and return to your Barossa accommodation (or local restaurant) just after dark.
Subject to weather conditions.

Heritage is not all "old stuff"
The Barossa's heritage dates back hundreds of years to the period when the Peramangk aboriginal people lived here. Much has changed since then and it continues to change. We spend the day looking at the heritage of the Barossa, where we have come from and how that shapes and moulds what is happening today and how it might impact on what the future may hold.
We will visit a couple of wineries to see how winemaking has changed and a couple of food producers to taste heritage and modern regional produce. We look at heritage buildings and how they have been adapted to serve another 150 years. Our lunch is a feature of the day - a regional platter that reflects the past but with a modern twist.
We travel in comfort in a stylish current model Chrysler 300C sedan. Includes lunch at Krondorf Road Café at Kabminye Wines.

Smokehouses and Ovens - a Foodies day out
We spend the day on a smorgasbord of discovery as we journey across the valley tasting the product of small regional food producers. Highlights of the day will be tastings straight from the smokehouse of one of our award winning smallgoods craftsmen and then coffee and cake from a German bakery. Of course no "foodie" visit to the Barossa would be complete without a visit to the Pheasant Farm - home of Maggie Beer and her incredible range of modern Barossa produce.
Our lunch is a feature of the day - a regional platter that reflects the food culture spread over 160 years. We drop into a sixth generation farm producer and then the famous Barossa Valley Cheese Company to sample their wares and finish the day with a personal tasting of liquid gold - Barossa fortified wines
